L’Association Paritaire d’Action Sociale du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics de la Région Parisienne was founded in 1946 with the aim of "creating, organizing, developing and managing, or having managed, collective social programs.

Challenge
Allow end users to communicate, collaborate and share knowledge within a single location
APAS BTP is an associative structure organised by activity centres, each of which has its own specific characteristics: the health centre has very different challenges from the leisure centre. The organisation is also multi-site with disparate access to internal tools.
The Digital Workplace project is fully integrated into the organisational project and has the ambition of being a pillar of the APAS BTP employer brand.
Supported by both Human Resources and Communication teams, the project resulted in the birth of COMITY.
COMITY stands for "communication" and "unity". In other words: to make communication the vector of APAS's unity.
COMITY is a digital workspace where all users can log in at any time, anywhere and from any device (laptops and mobile devices).
Available in the eXo cloud, Comity is accessible through an Office 365 connection and allows all users to access their tools, documents and to exchange directly by chat or video with their colleagues.
A unifying and cohesive platform, Comity is a living platform that carries the memory of APAS BTP as well as the spirit of mutual aid and freedom.
Why eXo?
APAS-BTP’s decision to select eXo Platform as their new digital workplace was based on two important factors.
On the one hand, following a number of product demonstrations, the project team has been convinced of the product’s capacity to respond to their most recurrent needs with a large array of collaborative and social features such as news, spaces, activity streams, document management, and more.
On the other hand, our team of solutions experts has held a series of workshops during which they communicated how they will assist the project team during various phases of the project. This has appealed to the team at APAS BTP as continuous assistance with implementation and change management presented one important criterion to select potential solutions.
